Today I want to talk about a topic that I need your help with. It has some personal connection to my life, and something that also has a philosophical component to it. And that topic is connected with… “saying grace”.
First, let me set up the background for you. My wife suggested that we start emulating and modeling behavior for our son, who is now approaching 2 years old. And in that charter, she suggested that as one of the behaviors we model, we pause before meals to “say grace” or offer a blessing of some sort.
So… as the officially ordained member of the family, I was asked to say something last night at that moment of thanks, pre-mastication. So in my ‘when-two-masters-meet-along-a-path-not-a-word-is-spoken’ nature… we all held hands, and here’s what I said:Read More
I must share with you something that has been on my mind for a little while now regarding the Law of Attraction.
A number of points actually that I feel need a little reflection.
I was contemplating ‘alignment’ recently, whilst finding my centre point and sinking into the truth of me which, in my opinion, is all that is. As I was meditating in this state I received insight into the creation process.
When one is in alignment or in the NOW, one has the ability to create with a conscious mind using one’s intention and eradicating thoughts that cause distress.
Without attention distress results in spiritual and emotional blindness.

The persian poet Rumi said this about 700 years ago, and it has not changed since then. And that is because it is basic unconditional truth.
What you are seeking is seeking you.
And… I must interject here… please do not misinterpret this statement as some “what you want from the world wants you” BS like the misguided “Law of Attraction” practitioners might have you believe. The true attractive forces in the universe have absolutely nothing to do with attracting worldly things or accomplishments that you want to have in your life. Those worldly wants/needs/preferences are egoic needs, and they are illusionary in the grand scheme and not connected with spiritual truth… not connected with the true vibrations of the universe… not connected with… what is seeking you.
